Part acting, part film-making, part dancing, all visual artistry--Animation is the greatest medium there is! From a pretty early age, I knew that this was the job for me.
I spent years bopping around the industry, working briefly in movies at Turner Pictures and and theme parks for Disney before settling at Nickelodeon Animation from 1995 to the end of 2001. During that time I designed and drew backgrounds, consulted on scripts, and storyboarded a ton of shows, including dozens of shorts for SpongeBob SquarePants, Hey Arnold! and more. By the time I left the studio I was a writer/storyboard director, but other things took up my attention for a few years. Now I'm back at work in the medium I love best, directing Phineas & Ferb for Disney Television Animation, and hoping to have my own show one day... keep your fingers crossed.
Check out the links at left. SpongeBob and Hey Arnold you already know, but below them you'll see some of my recent projects: first, my own series, Travelers, followed by Thunderhead, which I created with my writing partner, Micah Wright, and then The Adventures of Chewy & Chava, which I developed for Twinstar Entertainment. These shows are not in production yet, but one day you can say you knew them "way back when..."
